THEY'RE HERE!!

the new washer and dryer that is... and they are PRETTY! I almost wish that I could put them in the house so I could look at them. As it is I have set up a Coleman chair in front of them, and as I write this I am in the garage sitting in front of my washer and dryer. doing laundry... Mandy, you'd love it!
Today has been a pretty quiet day thus far because I spent most of it just waiting for the delivery. Now it's a little after 3 and the kids are starting to trickle in. I have to go to the store tonight and get the veggies, soda, chips/dips, oj, milk, and such for the sleepover tomorrow. Also I need to get some canned pumpkin and dog food. Pumpkin from the grocery and dog food from Petsmart since they don't sell the kind they have to eat (grain free) at the regular store. It's really not even that expensive and I have noticed a HUGE difference in the fact that Annie isn't scooting nearly as much!
I did get dinner started already - it was good I rememberd cause it's bean soup and that takes a while to soak, cook, etc. Also fresh rolls, which have to rise.
Yes, I AM aware of the fact that I am taking silly pictures - but you know how very much I do enjoy that!! And currently, I rather enjoy posting them thru-out (someday I am gonna have to learn how to spell that word, thruout... throughout - that could be right, but it looks wrong) And cause I have the super cool camera and laptop, I just pop out the card and pop it into my puter and bingo bango boo, the pictures are THERE! LOVES IT!!!
Well I have some yuukky phone calls to make - so until later...

Curly Haired Katlyn

So I took Katlyn to get her hair permed (hello 80's?) yesterday, she really really really wanted it done - so ok.
I'm not sure it's really gonna stay - cause her hair is SO heavy - but we'll see what happens. Actually it looks pretty cute, if her hair will hang onto it!

It was her birthday gift from Ashley, sometimes their sisterness is so lovely! makes me so happy when they are so sweet to each other. Here is a picture of Katlyn and Sis. Dietrich (who is our very sweet hair do-er)
whoops - I just realized the time, I'm going to get MY hair trimmed and roots done by Sis. Dietrich, so I'll have to finish this later!

okay, so I went and got my hair done. I had a very pretty dark red section in the underneath, much much darker than I would ever have the nerve to do to the rest of my head. The top is a very pretty light light blond (very Katie) with just a few pieces of the rich red. Maybe if I put make up on tomorrow I'll let someone take a picture.
Then after my hair I went to the Maytag store and bought a new washer and dryer, which will be delivered tomorrow. It's a very cool front loader, super on sale - I was very happy to have found it on sale. Actually just before I took my bath tonight I looked at our hamper and was very happy for the first time in my life that I can remember to see that I have a full load to wash - hooooooray! So tomorrow will be spent waiting for the washer/dryer delivery and then finding things to wash!
After that I swung by the house to pick up Joey and then we picked up Katlyn and took Joey to get a hair cut, then to the mall to have Katlyn's ring sized and to take back some clothes that I got for Christmas. One of the stores wouldn't take back my clothes and give me money, they would only give me store credit, at Wet Seal - a place that I have no desire to shop. So Ashley bought the store credit from me. But the sales girl was so obnoxious, she really irritated me with how rude she was. Oh well. Then I went to Lane Bryant to return the jeans that Ash got me for Christmas, they were too big (hahahahahha love it) and I exchanged for a cute white blouse and some bracelets. I didn't need another pair of jeans cause all my skinny jeans fit again. hooray!
Okay so after that we left and I took the kids to pay their phone bills at Cricket store.
THEN we came home, Dave and the girls left for mutual and Joey helped me to hang up Katlyn's decorations for her party. They look pretty good! It's gonna be a fun party!
There are lots of hot pink and black streamers all around the living room and in the dining room. It's gonna look really nice. I have two tables to set up with black and pink covers. I went to Costco last night to order the cake, and they don't take requests for special decorations anymore - you have to choose from their reportoir (yeah, I"m sure I spelled that wrong) so I had no choice but to choose a chocolate frosted cake (they also don't have the whipped cream topping anymore, only buttercream which Katlyn doesn't like) and requested black and hot pink flowers. I like Costco cakes the best because they are filled. But I MIGHT just go down to Sam's club tomorrow and see if I can have a cake with the whipped topping that Katlyn likes and decorated the way that I want. hmmm. I sound like a picky picky shopper tonight. Oh I am just tired I guess.
Well until next time!
xoxoKatie
